Summary

Abstract
An adaptation experiment with six of Kale and Kola (Collard) cabbage variaties brought from outside one local variety called Kara (Black) cabbage variety were conducted under Tokat conditions in the Department of Horticulture agriculture Faculty Tokat. The varieties are Kara (black) cabbage, Kale Dwarf blue curled vates, Kale Dwarf sibe-rion. Collard vates, Kale chou molliere, Kale collard green and Chinese Kale. Seeds of the¬se variaties were sown during spring season on 5th April 1988 and during autumn on 1st August 1988. The results were evaluated according to randomized block design with seven varieties and 3 replications. The results were significant for-yield among the varietis tested. Kale Collard green and Collard vates variaties gave higher yield together with high qua¬lity as compared to local Kara (black) cabbage variety. There are good possibilities for int¬roducing and marketing the above mentioned foreign origin varieties. This is these two va¬rieties under Tokat conditions. From our observations for odor and taste, it was found to have a bitter odor and tasteless. Odor and taste made on Collard vates variety was found to be fasty with sweet order.
