Summary
Süt sığırcılığı faaliyetinin ele alındığı bu araştırmada kaynak kullanımında etkinlik sorunun incelenmiştir. Bunun için üretimde kullanılan faktörlerle üretim arasındaki ilişki fonksiyonel analiz kapsamında çoklu regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Modeli oluşturan değişkenler brüt üretim değeri ile üretimi açıklayan inek sayısı, bakım yemleme işgücü, mer'adan yararlanma, sağlık giderleri ve yem giderleridir. Ayrıca yem faktörünün önemli olması nedeniyle ikinci bir modelle brüt üretim değeri ile yemler arasındaki fonksiyonel ilişki de incelenmiştir. Fonksiyonel analizler için Cobb-Douglas tipi fonksiyon kullanılmıştır. Fonksiyonel analizlerde bir başka yaklaşım sığır ırkları düzeyinde değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi olmuştur. Bu bağlamda yerli ırklarda yemden yararlanmanın düşük düzeyde kaldığı, kültür ve melezleriyle çalışmanın daha avantajlı olduğu ve kaynakları daha iyi değerlendirdiği saptanmıştır. Süt sığırcılığı faaliyetinde etkinliği artırma ve üretim fonksiyonunu yukarı çekmek için kültür ve melez ırklarla çalışılmalı ayrıca üretilen sütü işleyecek ve değerlendirecek süt işleme üniteleri yaygınlaştırmalıdır.

Abstract
In this study, the problems of effect on the resource use in the dairy farms was investigated. With multiple regression analysis, the relation between production factor used and output was analysed. In the functional analysis, while gross production value were used as explanatory variable, number of cows, feeding, labour, pasture use and veterineary expenses were used as predicted variables. Besides, as feed factors has an importance in the study, the gross relation between production value and the feeds was investigated in the second model. Cobb-Douglas production function was used in the functional analysis. In addition, the relation among variables was investigated in terms of the race, native, crossbreed and cultural cows in the dairy farms. It was found out that native cows have benefited from feed at low levels. In contrast , crossbreed and cultural ones have been benefited from feed at desired levels. It was determined that crossbreed and cultural races in the population should be increased to get desired efficiency and production.
