Summary
Bu araştırma Çukurova Bölgesinde açıkta yüksek yoğunlukla üretimi yapılan ve toprakaltı damla sulama sistemiyle farklı stratejilerde sulanan patlıcan bitkisinde bitki su stres indeksini belirlemek amacıyla 2014 yılında Alata Bahçe Kültürleri Araştırma Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü Tarsus Toprak ve Su Kaynakları Araştırma Lokasyonunda yapılmıştır. Araştırmada iki farklı sulama aralığı (3 gün (SA3) ve 6 gün (SA6) ) ana parselleri; dört farklı sulama stratejisi (Tam sulama, (TS); kısıntılı sulama, (KS50); Kısıntılı sulama, (KS75) veYarı ıslatmalı,(PRD50) ) ise alt parselleri oluşturmuştur. Deneme süresince tüm konularda bitki taç sıcaklık ölçümleri infrared termometre ile yapılmış ve havanın buhar basıncı açığı değerleriyle taç-hava sıcaklık farklarından bitki su stresi indeksi (CWSI) hesaplanmıştır. Sulama aralıkları ve düzeylerinin verim üzerine etkileri ayrı ayrı istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur.En yüksek verim 3 gün sulama aralığı tam sulama (SA3 TS) konusunda 92.7 t ha-1, en düşük verim ise 6 gün sulama aralığı PRD50 (SA6 PRD50) konusunda 58.8 t ha-1 elde edilmiştir. Sık sulamaların yapıldığı 3 gün sulama aralığında su stresi çekmeyen TS ve KS-75 sulama konularında daha düşük CWSI değerleri ölçülürken, su stresi altındaki KS-50 ve PRD-50 konularında daha yüksek CWSI değerleri elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları CWSI değerleri esas alınarak sulama programı oluşturulabileceği belirlenmiştir. Patlıcan CWSI’nin 0.20 değerinde sulanması durumunda en yüksek verim elde edileceği saptanmıştır

Abstract
This research was carried out in the Çukurova Region of Turkey where eggplant intensively produced, to determine crop water stres index (CWSI) for different irrigation leve sapplied with subsurface drip systems on egg plant yield during 2014, in the experimental fields of Alata Horticultural Research Institute, Tarsus Soil and Water Resources Research Unit. Inthestudy, two irrigation intervals in main plots 3-day (SA3); 6-day (SA6) and four irrigation levels in sub plots (Full irrigation, TS; deficitirrigation, KS50; deficitirrigation, KS75; and Partial Root-Zone Drying PRD50) were tested. Canopytemperatures were measured through out the growing season with an infrared thermometer, and vapor pressure deficit of air was used for calculating the crop water stres index (CWSI).The effect of the irrigation intervals and irrigation levels on the yield were found statistically significant. Full irrigation treatment with 3-day interval produced the highest yield (92.7 t ha-1), the lowest yield was obtained in 6-day interval PRD-50 treatment plots (58.8 t ha-1). Lower CWSI values were determined for full and KS-75 irrigation treatments; and higher CWSI values wer emeasured in stres treatments of KS-50 and PRD-50. The results revealed that CWSI can be used for irrigation scheduling for eggplant. Eggplant should be irrigated at CWSI value between 0.20 for high yield.
