Summary
Bu araştırmada konik hüzmeli meme plakalarıyla kullanılan girdap plaketlerinin hüzme açısı ve püskürtme paternine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. İki adet girdap açıklığına sahip plaketlerden biri paslanmaz çelik diğerleri pembe, sarı, yeşil ve mavi renklerde poliasetal (POM) malzemeden üretilmiştir. 3 bar, 6 bar ve 9 bar püskürtme basınçlarında meme hüzme açısı 35.1°-60.9° aralığında değişmiştir. En yüksek meme hüzme açısı mavi (6 bar için 53.8°; 9 bar için 59.3°) ve yeşil (6 bar için 54.6°; 9 bar için 60.9°) girdap plaketlerinde ölçülmüştür. Püskürtme yüksekliği 20 cm, 40 cm ve 60 cm olduğunda örtme genişliği 12.7-70.6 cm aralığında geniş sınırlar içerisinde değişmiştir. Görsel olarak pembe ve yeşil girdap plaketlerinin püskürtme paterni içi boş çanak şeklinde, diğerleri trapez dağılıma yakın görünümde oluşmuştur. Tek meme paterninin varyasyon katsayısı (% CV) incelendiğinde püskürtme basıncı arttıkça azalmıştır. Bindirme olmadan tek memeyle püskürtmede en düşük % CV pembe girdapta, en yüksek paslanmaz çelik ve mavi girdap plaketlerinde bulunmuştur. Orifis çapı Ø 1.0 mm olan konik hüzmeli memelerin 60 cm sabit yükseklik ve 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm ve 50 cm aralıklarla yan yana yerleştirme düzeninde hacimsel dağılım düzgünlüğü (% CV) örtüşen komşu memeler için % 10’un üzerinde bulunmuştur. Basınç arttıkça püskürtme paterninin çarpıklığı ve basıklığı azalmıştır. En düşük çarpıklık pembe ve yeşil girdap plaketlerinde elde edilmiştir. Düşük basınçta püskürtme paterni normalden daha sivri oluşmuş ve basınç arttıkça basıklık azalmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, the effects of different cores used with hollow cone nozzles on its spray pattern angle and spray pattern distribution were investigated. One of the cores was made of stainless steel, and the others were made of polyacetal (POM) in blue, green, yellow and pink colors. The nozzle spray pattern anglesat 3 bar, 6 bar and 9 bar spray pressures were determined in the range of 35.1° to 60.9°. The highest nozzle spray pattern angles were obtained with blue (53.8° for 6 bar; 59.3°for 9 bar) and green (54.6° for 6 bar; 60.9° for 9 bar) cores. When the spray height was 20 cm, 40 cm and 60 cm, the spray cover ages were varied within the wide limits, from 12.7 to 70.6 cm. In appearance, while the spray pattern of the pink and green cores were similar to the hollow calycate form, and the others appeared similar to the trapeze form. The variation coefficient (CV %) of the single nozzle spray pattern decreased as the spray pressure increased. Without overlapping, while the lowest CV % was obtained with the pink core, and the highest CV% were found in the stainless steel and blue cores. When the cone nozzles with Ø 1.0 mm orifice diameter were assumed to be mounted in the spacing ranges of 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm and 50 cm with adjacent to each other the volumetric distribution homogeneity (CV %)calculated with the overlapping of the adjacent nozzles were found over the 10 % for the constant spray height of 60 cm. With increasing the spray pressure, the skewness and kurtosis of the spray pattern were significantly decreased. The lowest skewness was obtained from the pink and green cores. At the low spray pressure, the spray pattern formed steeper than normal distribution and the kurtosis of spray pattern decreased as the spray pressure increased.
