Summary
Bu araştırma farklı azot dozlarının (0, 6. 12. 18 ve 24 kg N/da) bazı mısır çeşitlerinde (Sele, RX-770, RX-899 ve RX-947) tane verimi ve verim komponentierine etkisini incelcmek amacıyla 1998 ve 1999 yıllarında Tokat Erbaa ekolojik koşullarında yapılmıştır, Araştırına sonucunda, azotlu gübrelemenin bitki boyu, koçan uzunluğu, koçan tane sayısı, koçan tane ağırlığı, bin tane ağırlığı ve tane verimi üzerine çok önemli etkisinin olduğu ve incelenen özellikler bakımından çeşitlerin önemli derecede farklı oldukları bulunmuştur. En yüksek fane verimi bütün çeşitlerde dekara 18 kg azot uygulamasından elde edilmiş ve RX-899 çeşidi en fazla tane verimi (873,9 kg/da) veren çeşit olmuştur. Bide edilen tane ürünü ile azot arasındaki kuadratik ilişki önemli bulunmuş ve bu ilişki Y = 414,17 + 44,50X-- 0,96 X2 denklemiyle ifade edilmiştir. Ekonomik analiz sonuçlarına göre, bu şartlar için dekara 22 kg azot uygulaması en ekonomik gübre seviyesini oluşturmuştur.

Abstract
This study was conducted to detemine the effects of different nitrogen rates (0, 6, 12, 18, and 24 kg N/cIa) on grain yield and yield components of four corn cultivars (Sele, RX-770, RX-899 and RX-947) in Tokat Erbaa ecological conditions in ¡998 and 1999, As a result of this study, it was found that nitrogen rates significantly affected plant height, ear length, the grain number of ear, ear grain weight, 1000 grain weight, and grain yield. The results indicated that cultivars used in the experiment were significantly different for all characters. The highest grain yield for four cultivars was obtained at 18 kg N/de and the highest grain yield was obtained from cuftivar RX-899. The quadratic relationship between grain yield and nitrogen has been obtained as the Y = 414,17 + 44,50X - 0,96 X2. According to the results of economic analayses, 22 kg N/da has been found the most economical for this conditions.
