Summary
Tokat Erbaa şartlarında 1998-1999 yıllarında yapılan bu çalışmada farklı sıra üzeri mesafelerinin (15,20, 25 ve 30 cm) bazı mısır çeşitlerinde (Sele, RX-770, RX-899 ve RX-947) hasıl verimi ve bazı karakterlere etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde, kullanılan çeşitlerin silaj için olgunlaşma süresi, bitki boyu, yaprak sayısı, bitki verimi ve hasıl verimi bakımından önemli derecede (P<0.05) farklı, koçan oranı bakımından farksız oldukları gözlenmiştir. Silaj olgunluğuna en erken RX-770 (88,2 gün) çeşidi ulaşmış ve en yüksek hasıl verimi RX-947 çeşidinden (7472,5 kg/da) elde edilmiştir. Farklı sıra üzeri mesafe ile ekim silaj için olgunlaşma süresi, bitki boyu, bitki verimi ve hasıl verimini önemli derecede etkilemiş, yaprak sayısı ve koçan oranını ise etkilememiştir. Dekara en yüksek hasıl verimi 15 cm sıra üzeri mesafe ile ekimde (7551,9 kg/da) elde edilmiş ve bu verim ile diğer sıra üzeri mesafelerde elde edilen verimlere göre önemli derecede (P<0.05) yüksek bulunmuştur.

Abstract
The effects of different plant spacing (15, 20, 25, and 30 cm) on green matter yield and some caharacteristics of four silage com cultivars (Sele, RX-770, RX-899 ve RX-947) were studied in Tokat Erbaa condition in 1998-1999. According to results, it was investigated that cultivars used in experiment were different in term of the time to silage maturity, the height of plant, the number of leave, the plant yield, and green matter yield (P<0.05) but not for the ratio of ear. RX-770 cultivar reached silage maturity at firstly (88,2 days) and the highest green matter yield was obtained from RX-947 cultivar (7472,5 kg/de). Applied plant spacings also affected the time to silage maturity, the height of plant, the plant yield, and green matter yield significiantly (P<0.05). The highest green matter yield (7551,9 kg/de) from 15 cm plant spacing and it was found that this yield is higher from the yields at others row spacings significiantly (P<0.05).
