Summary
Buğday üretiminin artırılması için değişen çevre koşullarında verim potansiyeli sabit bir düzeyde kalan yeni çeşitlerin kullanılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; bölgeye uygun verim ve kalitesi yüksek yeni ekmeklik buğday genotiplerini belirlemek, Tokat’ta ve benzer ekolojilere sahip bölgelerdeki toplam buğday üretimini artırmaktır. Araştırma, 1999-2000 ve 2001-2002 vejetasyon dönemlerinde Tokat-Kazova koşullarında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, ICARDA’dan sağlanan 20 ileri hat ve Cham-6, Cham-4 ve Mexipak-65 uluslar arası çeşitlerle birlikte ulusal çeşit olarak bölgede yaygın olarak yetiştirilmekte olan Bezostaja-I çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Denemeler alfa-latis deneme desenine göre üç tekerrürlü olarak kurulmuştur. İncelenen tüm özellikler bakımından genotipler arasında önemli farklar elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; Tokat-Kazova bölgesinde yüksek tane verimine sahip KAUZ*2/YACO//KAUZ, CHIL/2*SATR, KAUZ/STAR, ATTILA (21) ve FOW-2//NS732/HER hatları ve Mexipak-65 çeşidinin bazı verim ve kalite unsurları bakımından da iyi performans göstermeleri bu genotiplerin bölgede başarıyla kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir.

Abstract
New wheat cultivars which provide certain yield level under diverse ecological conditions should be grown for increasing production amount. The aim of this study were to determine new wheat genotypes with higher yield and better quality properties and to increase overall wheat production in Tokat and surrounding regions with similar ecology. Experiments were conducted under Tokat-Kazova conditions in 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 vegetation periods. In the research, 20 advanced breeding lines and Cham-6, Cham-4 and Mexipak-65 international cultivars obtained from ICARDA and local check cultivar Bezostaja-I were evaluated. Experiments were organized as alfa-latis design with three replications. There were significant differences among genotypes for all evaluated characters. According to the results, KAUZ*2/YACO//KAUZ, CHIL/2*SATR, KAUZ/STAR, ATTILA (21) and FOW-2//NS732/HER lines and Mexipak-65 cultivar could be successfully grown in the Tokat-Kazova region because of their higher yield and better performances for the most yield and quality components.
