Summary
Bu araştırmada; nohut tarımında farklı toprak işleme yöntemlerinin ürün verimi ve bazı verim unsurlarına etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, Tokat Kazova’ da bulunan Çayköy ve Güzelpınar köylerinde 2008, 2009 ve 2010 yıllarında tarla denemeleri yapılmıştır. Denemeler sırasında bitkisel materyal olarak Gökçe çeşidi nohut kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada; sonbaharda toprağın kulaklı pullukla sürülmesi ve ilkbaharda tarla kültivatörü + dişli tırmıkla tohum yatağının hazırlanması (A yöntemi), ilkbaharda kulaklı pullukla toprağın sürülmesi daha sonra tarla kültivatörü + dişli tırmıkla tohum yatağının hazırlanması (B yöntemi), ilkbaharda toprak frezesiyle toprağın işlenmesi (C yöntemi), ilkbaharda çizelle toprağın işlenmesinin ardından diskli tırmık ve sürgüyle tohum yatağının hazırlanması (D yöntemi), frezeli ara çapa makinasıyla şeritsel toprak işleme (E yöntemi) ve doğrudan ekim (F yöntemi) olmak üzere 6 farklı toprak işleme yöntemi ele alınmıştır. Tarla denemeleri, tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre üçr tekerrürlü olarak düzenlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; en yüksek metrekaredeki ortalama bitki ve tane verimlerinin 470,74 ve 260,63 g ile A yönteminden elde edildiği, bunu 459,43 ve 254,18 g ile B yönteminin ve ardından 447,82 ve 247,23 g ile D yönteminin izlediği belirlenmiştir. Genel olarak incelenen faktörler yönünden A, B ve D yöntemlerinin diğer yöntemlerden daha üstün oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the effects of different soil tillage methods on crop yield and some yield components in chickpea cultivation. For this reason, experimental trials were performed in Çayköy and Güzelpınar in Tokat-Kazova during 2008, 2009 and 2010. In this trials Gökçe cultivar of chickpea was used. Six different soil tillage methods were applied which were, mouldboard plough tillage in fall + cultivator in the spring + tooth harrow (Method A), mouldboard plough tillage in spring + cultivator + tooth harrow (Method B), rotary tiller in the spring (Method C), chisel in the spring + disc harrow and slider (Method D), strip tillage with router rotary hoe (Method E) and direct seeding (Method F). Trials were set up in completely randomized block design with three replications. The results indicated that the highest average plant and seed yield per square meter was obtained with method A (470.74 g and 260.63 g) and followed by method B (459.43 g and 254.18 g) and method D (447.82 g and 247.23 g). In terms of factors evaluated; A, B and D methods were superior compared to the other methods.
