Summary
Çalışmada kara duttan (Morus nigra L) alınan odun, yarı odun ve yeşil çeliklerin köklenme durumu incelenmiştir. Kontrol grubu yanında, odun ve yarı odun çeliklerinde 6000 ve 7500 ppm, yeşil çeliklerde ise 4000 ve 6000 ppm indol bütirik asit (IBA) uygulamaları yapılmıştır. Odun çeliklerinde, kontrol grubunda %9.5 oranında köklenme olurken, 6000 ppm IBA uygulamasından %24 oranında köklenme elde edilmiştir. 7500 ppm IBA uygulanan odun çeliklerinin hiç biri köklenmemiştir. Yarı odun çeliklerinde, kontrol uygulamasından %13.33 oranında bir köklenme elde edilirken bu oran 6000 ve 7500 ppm IBA uygulanan çeliklerde sırasıyla %60.00 ve %76.67 olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Yeşil çeliklerde ise hormon uygulaması yapılmayan kontrol çeliklerin %25’i köklenirken, 6000 ve 7500 ppm IBA uygulanan çeliklerin sırasıyla %55.9 ve %68.5’i köklenmiştir. Çelik başına kök sayısı, odun çeliklerinde hem kontrol hem de hormon uygulamasında düşük bulunmuştur. Yarı odun çeliklerinde kök sayısı kontrolde 1.0 iken, 7500 ppm IBA uygulanan çeliklerde 5.07’ye ulaşmıştır. Yeşil çeliklerde ise kontrol grubunda kök sayısı 4.38 olarak belirlenirken, bu değer 6000 ppm IBA uygulananlarda 10.33, 7500 IBA uygulananlarda ise 11.34 olarak tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, rooting performances of the hardwood, semi hardwood and soft wood cuttings of black mulberry (Morus nigra L) were investigated. In addition to control group, hardwood and semi hardwood cuttings were treated with 6000 and 7500 ppm IBA. Soft wood cuttings were dipped to 4000 and 6000 ppm indole butyric acid (IBA) solutions. While the rooting ratio remained at 9.5%, it was 24% in hardwood cuttings treated with 6000 ppm. On the other hand, no root formation was observed in the hardwood cuttings treated with 7500 ppm IBA. Higher rooting ratios were observed in semi hardwood and soft wood cuttings than hardwood cuttings. The rooting ratios in semi hardwood were 13.33% in control, 60% in 6000 ppm treatment and 76.67% in 7500 ppm IBA treatment. The rates of root formation in soft wood cutting were 25% in control, 55.9% in 6000 ppm IBA treatment and 68.5% 7500 IBA treatment. The number of roots per cutting was low in hardwood cutting both with and without hormone. While the average number of roots per cutting of semi hardwood cuttings was 1.00 in control, it was increased by 7500 IBA treatment to 5.07. In the soft wood cutting, average 4.38 roots per cutting were formed in control group. The number of root per cutting in 6000 and 7500 ppm IBA treatments was 10.33 and 11.34, respectively.
