Consumption Trend of Organic Product and Determination of Consumer Profile: A Case Study of Sakarya
In this study of Sakarya in the determination of the consumption trends of consumers of organic products and some marketing study of the properties intended , therefore, in the province of Sakarya total of 250 consumers in the markets of organic products obtained data were evaluated by a questionnaire. Research data , random sampling method , the correlation coefficient , the Shapiro-Wilk analysis and chi- square test is tried. According to the results obtained from the analysis of data consumers to determine attitudes and behavior towards organic products , organic products in Turkey and the consumer profile of the structure of the market potential for the development of improvements were made to obtain. According to the survey , education level, and income level is high, middle age and older consume organic products are consumer groups . Confidence in organic products , organic care about the health effects of their products , traditional products and organic products to reduce the price gap with ease of access to and consumption of organic products are among the contributing factors . On the other hand, the low number of varieties of organic products , inspection and certification of consumer awareness regarding avoid and marketing are among the major problems . Marketing margin to be in favor of consumers , advertising activities and work to be done to inform consumers of organic products consumption will increase.
