Abstract
A Research on the Determination of the Cost and Profitability of the Peach, Apple and Sour Cherry Grown in Central District of Tokat Province
This study covers farms growing widely fruits in central district of Tokat province. The data which was obtained from 83 farms in 8 villages by survey were used, in the research. The profitability of some important fruits having the highest ratio in the production pattern were examined. These fruit are peach, apple and sour cherry. The highest profit/capital ratio was calculated in the sour cherry (2.55). It is followed by peach (1.40) and apple (1.06). Sour cherry has maximum net income which is 108 922 345 TL/da and the others are peach (33 290 399 TL/da) and apple (5 942 743 TL/da).
