Abstract
Socio-Economic Structure and Income Distribution In The Plain Farms In Zile District Of Tokat Province
In this study, socio-economic structure, income and land distribution in the plain farms in Zile district of Tokat province were determined. The data used in the study obtained from the 14 villages representing of the Zile plain got by survey from 90 farms determined by the proportionate stratified random sampling metod. Gross-Margin Analysis Method has been used for agricultural production branches. Also, agricultural faims have been dealed with a whole and yearly occupation results were investigated, “Gini Ratio” and “Lorenz Curve” were used in the calculation of the income distribution. Acording to study results, for average of agricultural farms in the region was created by land products %82,41, dairy products %17,29 and viniculture %0,30. Income distribution of the farms was deteailed by agricultural income, total family income and per .capita family income. In consequence of these criterion, it was determined that per capita agricultural average income was 2 140 834 200 TL(5 843,25 $), total family income was 2 254 656 400 TL (6 153,92 $) and average per capita family income was 324 670 500 TL(886,16 $). Gini ratio of the agricultural income, total family income and per capital family income was found 0,5002, 0,4714 and 0,4511, respectively. In the region, the size of average own land is 68,42 decars and the size of average farm land is 79,41 decars. Gini-ratio of the dispersion of own land and farm land were 0,3646 and 0, 3677, respectively Our study result show that income distribution in agricultural faims aren't balanced.
