Abstract
The Efffect of Intercropping With Different Vegetables ©n Yield and Quality ttf Pepper (Capsicum anmmm L.)
The aim of this study is to determine the ^effects of intercr-qppmg with jfflferent vegetables on yield and quality of pepper {Capsicum cmnuum L.) in Tokat £colc®ieal -conditions. This study was earned out in Tokat 1999.11 different vegetable species were used in (his study. Pepper was used mam-species; squash, celery root, cucumber, iceberg, onion, parsley, .catfoage, hroad-bean. bean and pea were used for helper species. The highest yield ®f -pepper was obtained irom pepper+bean {0,506 t/da) and -pepper+celery (0.410 i da) combinations. The highest yield ofiielper species were squash (5.481 t/da). cabbage (4,005 t/da), parsley (2.739 t/da) and bean (2.733 t/da). Statistical analyses were made only un pepper species. Effects of combinations on yield were significant at "5 %3evel.
