Abstract
The Effect of Different Tillage Systems on Some Physico-mechanical Properties of the Soil at Second Crop Production
In this study, the effects of different tillage systems on some physico-mechanical properties of soil for seed bed preperation at second crop farming investigated in the research and application farm in GOP university in Kazova area. With this purpose, three different tillage systems were applied as S1 (Mouldboard plow + disc harrow), S2 (Chisel + disc harrow), S3 (Rototiller). In this study, to determine physical properties of soil, samples are collected in 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm depths. Values of gravimetric moisture content, penetration resistance and share strength were obtained from soil samples. Measure results were then compared.
