Abstract
The Effects of the Different Seeding Rate and Forward Speed on Longitudinal and Latitudinal Distribution of Wheat and Common Vetch Seeds in a Combine Grain Seed Drill
In this study, the longitudinal and latitudinal seed distribution of wheat and common vetch seeds in different seeding rate and forward speed of combine seed drill were investigated. The experiments were conducted in laboratory conditions and seed drill experimental set was used to determine the longitudinal and latitudinal seed distribution of seeds. The experiment of the longitudinal seed distribution was conducted in sticky band system which attached the seed drill experimental set. The experiments were conducted on four seeding rates and three forward speeds. At the result of the research, longitudinal seed distribution pattern was spoiled when seeding rate and machine forward speed increased for wheat and common vetch seeds. The best longitudinal seed distribution was obtained with smaller seeding rates and forward speeds for wheat and common vetch sowing.
