Abstract
A Review of Legislation to Prevent Fragmentation of Agricultural Land
In Turkey, the number of agricultural farms is too, farm size is low and land is very fragmented. The causes of land fragmentation are the use of lands except for purposes such as industrial and tourism facilities, dams, roads, housing etc. and tenancy and/or partnership. Significant economic losses as a result of agricultural land fragmentation has occurred. In this study, to prevent fragmentation of agricultural land in Turkey, issued the legislation reviewed in the application of common defects and deficiencies are identified, the necessary recommendations to the faults and shortcomings are presented.
